There are fourteen communities in the township: Bayview Park, Big Chute, Cedar Nook, Crooked Bay, Franceville, Go Home, Honey Harbour, Macey Bay, MacTier, Potters Landing, South Bay, Wolverine Beach and Wood Landing.
Georgian Bay is located approximately two hours north of Toronto. It is a large bay of Lake Huron, east of Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin Island. It is surrounded by the districts of Manitoulin, Parry Sound and Muskoka.
With fourteen courses to choose from, your days will be kept busy experiencing all the selection of courses in the area. Join a private club or enjoy the public courses, there's enough options for any level of experience.
Lighthouse & Marine Heritage
Spend your days exploring the history of Georgian Bay! There are 32 lighthouses to visit, including 6 limestone towers built in the 1850's. At the end of the day exploring the heritage, relax and sample some local cuisine.
The Great Outdoors
Spend your day exploring on the water, sailing, fishing or kayaking. Once your back to land, enjoy the large variety of cycling and mountain biking trails. For those looking for something a bit more extreme get in your ATV to go caving then sleep at a backcountry campsite. There is something for everyone when you visit Georgian Bay.
